HSBC Request for Enlistment 2021

Dear Concerned,

By way of a brief introduction, We, HSBC Bangladesh is requesting necessary documentation and information regarding the Product(s)/Service(s) mentioned in the categories set out in the table below:

Proposed Duration of Third Party Enlistment: 2 Years (From 01JUL21 to 30JUN23)

Categories Considered for Third Party Enlistment:

Designing, drawing, detail working drawings (inclusive furniture layout, lighting, plumbing, electrical. AC, LAN) preparation, BoQ preparation, quality supervision etc.
2 Agri Loan Support Services

The Third party will collect, validate and coordinate required data on borrowers of Agri loans from MFIs through visiting all sample borrowers. A quarterly comprehensive report needs to be submitted.
3 Audit and Tax Advisory Services
4 Bulk SMS services

Requirement to send bulk SMS to internal customers (both local and/ or overseas mobile) as and when required.
5 Credit Rating Agency
6 Customized Agent Remote Services

Third Party to provide the network services support for the alliance bank deposit information details.
7 Day Care Management Support Services
8 Facilities Management Services at Staff Residences

Overall repair maintenance support to the residences.

Third Party Enlistment Evaluation Process: Interested parties eligible to make applications for enlistment will be evaluated based on the following steps:

  1. Eligibility Criteria

  2. Preliminary Examination

  3. Due Diligence Checking


1. Eligibility Criteria

HSBC Bangladesh will consider and assess the applications based on the following information, consisting of the below criteria:


a) Initial Basic Document:

Submit the updated documents along with a forwarding letter (Will be verified internally by HSBC Bangladesh)

  • Forwarding Letter (Mandatory)
  • Updated eTIN and BIN Certificate (Mandatory)
  • Updated Trade License (Mandatory)
  • Bank Solvency Certificate (Mandatory)
  • Company Profile – (Mandatory)

Note that below information must be incorporated in the company profile to be shared as potential:

  • General Details – Registered address, contact details, email address, core business, type of company, year of establishment, D-U-N-S Number (if available).
  • Organization Structure & Staff – Team structure, local/multinational, number of permanent staff, skill sets/experience of the staff.
  • Client Relationship – Name of the clients with whom the third party have relationship.
  • Banking Relationship – Name of the Banks where third party maintain accounts.
  • Areas of Operations – Official presence in other Districts.
  • Work Areas – Tenure of service experience in the relevant category.
  • Brief of Company Shareholders and associated business (Where Applicable)
  • Copy of relevant regulatory permission / Professional Certificates (Where applicable)
  • Copy of Certificate of Incorporation (Where Applicable)
  • Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association (Where Applicable)

b) Relevant work experience document for applied category:

The potential third parties are required to provide relevant work references from their customers. (Copy of any documents related to similar work experience)


c) Establishment:

The year of establishment/incorporation should be at least three years before/by 08APR21.

Those who are primarily eligible and comply with the above criteria, may be considered for next evaluation step (Preliminary Examination).



2. Preliminary Examination

The preliminary shortlisting of third parties will be technically evaluated as per the following criteria and mentioned weight, then will be shortlisted further for necessary due diligence.

3. Due Diligence Checking

Internal due diligence checks will be performed for the shortlisted third parties from previous step. If any third party fails internal due diligence check, it will no longer be eligible for enlistment. Third Party Enlistment process will be completed after above due diligence check. Finalized third parties upon completion of the above process will be contacted further to complete the enlistment process.


General Terms & Conditions

All potential suppliers must send the required documents to procurement generic email address (procurement.bd@hsbc.com.bd).

No application will be accepted without using above channel.

One third party may participate in multiple categories based on their capacity, authority, license, scope and nature of business.

Bank can change terms and conditions at any point of time. Bank can refuse any company or ask for explanation/further details.

No alternation/amendment is accepted after submission of the profile documents. In case of multiple submission only first one will be considered further.

HSBC Bangladesh reserves the right to accept or reject part/whole of any or all the application without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Enlistment of a party will not obligate HSBC to engage or contract with the said entity. Any engagement is subject to HSBC’s discretion, requirement and subject to signing of definitive supply/service agreements.
